I agree, Jay - a light really would help safety at this location, particularly with the school and newer housing that has been constructed.

I was thinking about this issue again yesterday; if the sidewalks angled out to the corner, and the cross walk was from corner to corner of the properties, it would be possible to see the traffic, and keep the pedestrians safe.
